Amanda received her accounting degree from UNLV. As a CPA and real estate investor, Amanda has helped countless investors across the nation to super charge their wealth building through proactive tax saving with her top selling Amazon books as well as her teachings on prominent publications such as Money Magazine, Google Talks, and CNBC.  Amanda brings over two decades of tax planning and compliance experience from working in Big 4 Public Accounting as well as public and private companies. In her spare time, Amanda enjoys canvas painting, biking by the beach, and seeking out the best hole-in-the-wall dining options where ever she visits.

Matthew MacFarland

Managing Director

Matt received his accounting degree from UCLA and a Masters in Taxation degree from USC. As a CPA, Matt brings over two decades of tax planning expertise in working specifically with real estate investors and high net-worth individuals with his experience in Big 4 Public Accounting and in private client advisory. Matt is an avid speaker and educator on real estate tax strategies and authored The Book on Advanced Tax Strategies for Real Estate Investors. Matt has a passion for animals and founded the Animals for Armed Forced Foundation.  In his spare time, Matt loves all things baseball: coaching little league for his sons, watching baseball on TV, going to a local game, or just talking about baseball with anyone who will listen.

Upnik Patel

Senior Tax Manager

Upnik grew up in the Mississippi Delta.  She graduated from the University of Mississippi with her Bachelor's in Accounting and received her Master's degree from Delta State University. Upnik has over 10 years of experience in tax planning and compliance.  When Upnik is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her family riding bicycles, going to the park, cooking, and taking mini day trips. 

Adrian Corona
Senior Tax Manager

Adrian grew up in Tustin, CA. He graduated from Cal State Fullerton with a Bachelors in Business Administration with an Accounting Concentration. After starting with Keystone in 2015, he went on to earn his CPA license. During his free time, he enjoys having fun with his kids, playing video games, and being outside.

Laurie Hamblin
Senior Tax Manager

Laurie received her accounting degree from CSULB and her Masters in Taxation from USC. Laurie has over 20 years of experience in the tax, accounting, and finance fields. She has experience with various industries, including manufacturing, retail, distribution, professional services, real estate, and high net-worth individuals. She specializes in preparing and reviewing federal and multi-state tax returns for S-corporations, partnerships, and individuals, as well as the management of federal and state income tax audits. She has worked in both public accounting and private industry and has also assisted in running a family business. Outside of the office, Laurie enjoys surfing, spending time at the beach, camping, traveling, reading, and playing with her boxer dogs.

Heejae Choi
Tax Manager

Heejae holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration from Cal State University of Fullerton and an Associate's degree in Accounting and Finance. Heejae has been with Keystone CPA for over 6 years and is currently working towards her CPA license. In her free time, Heejae loves to go to Disneyland for their magical rides (and some churros). 

Beth Knoke
Senior Tax Advisor

Beth is originally from Chicago, IL, but has spent the last several years in South Orange County California. She is a graduate of Cal State University Fullerton and has passed her CPA exams. When not working, Beth enjoys spending time with her husband, preferably at the zoo or watching her favorite football team, the Chicago Bears

Hanna Lim
Senior Tax Advisor

Hanna has a BS in Psychology from Biola University and received the UCI Applied Accounting Certificate Program. Hanna grew up in Los Angeles and currently resides in Orange County with her husband. They are always on the hunt for the best cafes, boba spots, and restaurants in the area. When Hanna's not working, she loves to travel both locally and abroad with her family and friends, especially ziplining in Maui.

Edward Lee
Tax Associate

Edward has lived most of his life in Valencia, California. He graduated with a BS in International Business and fulfilled his CPA unit requirements at SMC shortly after. Before Keystone, he primarily worked at a real estate firm on the development side and is working towards his CPA license. When not working, Edward enjoys spending time playing League of Legends and is on the hunt to find the world's greatest pizza.

Katrina Malasaga
Bookkeeper

Kat is from the Philippines and is married. She is passionate about her work and dedicated to helping clients achieve their financial goals. When she's not working, Kat finds fulfillment in her ministry, serving and connecting with local communities to make a meaningful impact on the lives of others.

Client Relations Specialist

Ivoire is an expert at learning & understanding the needs of a prospective client and focuses her time on developing working relationships with our clients. Ivoiré is married to her high school sweetheart and they have a son who is their pride and joy. As a family, their passion involves traveling- exploring, learning and experiencing all that they can as a family. 

Cindy Overton
Accountant

Cindy grew up and currently reside in Pueblo Colorado. She has two siblings and is married with four children and six grandchildren.  Cindy loves to support her grandkids in whatever their activity is.  Cindy and her husband enjoy the great outdoors, riding motorcycles, snowboarding and relaxing around water.  Now that all her own kids are grown, she spends her time enjoying her Fur Babies.

Lauren is a University of Washington graduate in Political Economy. She brings a wealth of experience to our team, spanning business, talent acquisition, management, marketing, and sales. Before joining Keystone, she excelled in building and overseeing life insurance agencies at both individual and corporate levels. Beyond her professional achievements, Lauren treasures moments with her husband and family, volunteers her time for youth sports organizations, and passionately mentors women in business. Her multifaceted expertise and dedication to community involvement make her a valuable asset to our team.

Jessica Kortlang

Jessica is the friendly face that assists clients with office and administrative tasks. Jessica grew up in different parts of southern California. She has a deep love/fascination for the ocean and all animals. Her interests & hobbies are art history, digital art, watercolor, and video games.

Marjorie Wright
Bookkeeper

Marjorie is from Oklahoma City and has her Master's in Accounting from Oklahoma City University. She loves taking care of accounting and bookkeeping details so that business owners have all the information they need to make accurate and informed decisions about their company. Marjorie is married and has four children. Her two oldest are adopted, so foster care and adoption are very important to her family. When Marjorie is not working, she loves spending time with her family, riding bikes with her kids, and being involved in her church.

Aadi is from Diamond Bar, CA, and has spent most of his life in Southern California. He graduated from UCI with a Bachelor's in Business Administration and has passed the CPA Exams. When not working, Aadi enjoys spending time with his two dogs and traveling around the world with friends and family.

Beah is a tax professional based in the Philippines, holding a BS in Accountancy from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines. With experience in tax, she specializes in assisting clients with various tax-related issues. In her free time, Beah enjoys watching Korean dramas and attending K-pop concerts.

Linda Carroll

Linda completed her Master's of Taxation at the University of San Diego while finishing her undergraduate studies in accounting, finance, and real estate. After college, she spent some time in accounting and then turned to real estate. Now, she is in a great place where she can combine both her interests in taxes and real estate. During her downtime, she learns about real estate investing and pursues her many hobbies, such as horseback riding and going to the gym.

Kristy Kim

Kristy grew up in Fullerton, California most of her life. She graduated with a BS in Real Estate Development at USC. Before Keystone, she worked as an Assistant Project Manager at a real estate firm and interned at Brookfield Properties on the development side. She has a deep passion and interest in health, fitness, and food (specifically sushi and kbbq). When Kristy is not working, she loves spending time with her friends and enjoys looking for new food places to try out. She is also a huge dog lover and has a red toy poodle named Bean.
