BOOKKEEPER (PART-TIME/FULL-TIME)

Pay + Benefits:

  • $20.00 - $30.00 per hour (DOE)
  • Overtime and sick pay
  • Flexible work schedule

Required Education and Experience: 

  • 2-3 years minimum bookkeeping experience, covering general ledger, bank
    reconciliations, and financial reporting
  • Experience with real estate bookkeeping a plus
  • Experience collaborating with CPAs and tax preparers
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, spreadsheets, and various cloud-based platforms
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Team player with strong attention to detail
  • Art background a plus (design, digital, traditional)
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update financial records for clients, including general ledger entries
  • Reconcile bank statements and financial accounts
  • Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Communicate with clients to obtain necessary financial information and clarify any
    discrepancies 
  • Coordinate and work with internal and external teams to improve and create efficiencies
  • Support company growth and capacity with additional bookkeeping tasks as needed
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
